Kathryn Gillette Ellett Obituary

West Jordan, UT-

Kathryn Lee (Kathy) Wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and loved one, passed away in her home on Jan 1st, 2019. She was 70 yrs old. Kathy was born on Dec.18th, 1948, to her loving parents Perry and Vonda Gillette in Sharon, Pennsylvania. She was the youngest of 3 children. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served in many capacities, but her favorite was serving as a Temple worker in the Oquirrh Mountain Temple where she had many friends and loved ones. She graduated as a nurse in her early 20's and worked at LDS Hospital for nearly 45 years. She was such a hard worker! She always strived to be a good wife and mother. She was a very adventurous person and enjoyed doing many things in life like river rafting and hiking but her favorite thing was attending many, many of her children and grandchildren's events. She was such a good example to all of us who knew her and she will be deeply missed by us all. For more details see www.wasatchlawn.com.

Kathy was one of those truely great women of this world. Alway happy, active, cheerful and alway very welcoming. Her chosen profession was right down her alley and I am certain she excelled as a caregiver, while providing compassion to those in her care. We haven’t been close since high school , however seeing her “in memory” brought a smile and a tear to my heart as an angel has left our midst. Til we meet again.

With warm regards,
