Ivin Einzinger

Ivin Matthew Einzinger, 74, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away 
August 18, 2017 in his home in Murray, Utah. 
Born May 19, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Matthew Simon and Bernice Austin Einzinger. He married Katherine Ovena Stoddard, July 9, 1965 in the Salt Lake, LDS Temple, by Howard W. Hunter. 
He served an LDS mission in Ireland and was a faithful active member all of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working in his train room. He also spent over 50 years as Santa's helper bringing joy to all. 
He is survived by his loving wife; two sons, Shawn (Rufine) Einzinger, Blaine (Erin) Einzinger; and daughter, Annette (David) Delahunty; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Janeal Robertson, and Portia “Pat” (Wendell) Miller . Preceded in death by his parents and brother in-law, Noel D. Robertson. 

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at St. Marks Hospital for the excellent care they gave Ivin during his IV therapy in the emergency room for many years and during his last days of life. 

A viewing will be held Thursday, August 24,2017, from 7pm - 8pm at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary at 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. An additional viewing will be held Friday, August 25th from 10am-10:45am, at the Hillside Ward, 495 East 5600 South, Murray, Utah, the funeral services will follow at 11am. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery at 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
