Jones, II passed away on Sept. 30, 2006 at age 62 of lung cancer. Bob was born in Salt Lake City, Utah Oct. 1, 1943 to Robert H. Jones and Mildred Jensen. He married Kay Lynn Haslam March 14, 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple. She preceded him in death on July 16, 1971. He married Myrna Mahoney on April 12, 1974 in the Salt Lake Temple. He is survived by: his wife, Myrna; 5 children, Robert Scott (McKell), Teresa, Jedediah, Aaron and Kyle and 3 grandchildren: Raeleigh, Aiden and Tate. He is also survived by his brother Steven (Shelley) Jones. He was preceded in death by a brother Marshall Dana Jones. Bob graduated from South High School in 1961 and Salt Lake Business College in 1972. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Australia South Mission from 1964 to 1966. He loved camping and fishing with his family. Being out in the wilderness meant 4 wheel driving in Moab. Fishing at Payson lakes, hiking at wind rivers, and spending time at Bryce Canyon. He also loved to build and fly model airplanes. He served as a member of CERT. Singing brought him much joy and he was a member of the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir and has been a member of the Payson Civic Chorale for the last 16 years. Bob was an avid scouter, involved in scouting for many years in several capacities, his favorite being Cub Master. In 1999 he was honored with the Silver Beaver Award for his years of service to scouting.
