Just completed and published "The Leadership and Command at Senior Levels". It establishes a doctrinal framework for leadership and command at senior levels within the context of the tactical and operational levels of war. It builds on the premise that leadership is the most essential element of combat power. I love Military history and our great Military leaders Patton, Karl von Clausewitz, Washington, Bradley, Napoleon, Eisenhower, just to name a few. I have learned over the years, that war is where one goes for examples of how senior leaders convert what they have learned into action.
Well I did it Retired from teaching JROTC after 18 years. Now working part time at Lowe's 30 hours per week. Got to keep moving. Finished my sea diving class and certification and planing to dive in the Bahamas in Aug. Got my 1966 Army jeep going with my 75 MM Cannon behind.
Just made assistant manager of Tool World Lowes. I have been working with a Chinese man building a boat dock and pergola at his house and lake. He has asked me to go to China with him in March for three weeks. Great opportunity
Well I got back from China 🇨🇳. Spent 3 weeks working, playing and business. Food wonderful families I stayed with best ever. Packing up tea and 1300 large clay pots some over 150 pounds. Spent one week in the mountains visiting 6 tea farmers. Will soon start to build a 125x40x25' tea barn in Powhatan
I guess we all get old. I'm going in to get knee surgery replacement 10 April. My legs have taken a few bad moves over the years. The next three weeks will tell the difference between what I can do and not do. Hope to spend time in my wood shop before I can go back to work at Lowe's Tool World. Going back to China for 30 days in August: work, pleasure and business again. Spend 9 days in China then over to Japan for 6 days then back to China. Great food and wonderful travel to buddha and Chinese temples. One day I walked 8 miles to see the major Buddha temples and the Olympic training center in China. I’m speaking Chinese much better and can understand when they are talking. The food was great and the tea is wonderful and healthy. Glad my knee surgery went well and the pain is no problem. Still at Lowe’s and I’m AST Manager over TOOL WORLD. Made $5,500 this year selling my wood item from my shop. One can see I have been able to do some fun things this year. 2019 June Back in China for the third year in a row.
