Mike was our foreign exchange student from Bangkok, Thailand. He lived with the Doyle Richards family near my home. His American siblings, Becky and Daniel Richards West high classes, 65 and 67. He was a great friend and lots of fun. My Husband and I visited with Mike and his wife Sang, And two daughters in Bangkok in 1976, and I kept track of him through email or on the phone through all the years until his death. He had a very successful life as as an engineer in Bangkok managing much needed water purification for the huge city. His large Utah family, the Richards still miss him and so do I and all those who knew him here in Utah.
