With my mom and my brother at a St. Mary's university alumni banquet. They gave my late father, Andy Mireles, the distinguished alumni award.

My tuba quartet is called the MadTown LowDown. We were competing at the Fischoff chamber music competition at the University of Notre Dame.

in 2008 I was the winner of the Leonard Falcone International Euphonium competition. My friend Derek was the winner in the Tuba division. It was the first time the winner of both the Euphonium and Tuba competition were from the same university. Roll Tide! The guy in the middle was third place in the euphonium division with me, and came all the way from Japan
