Hey everyone!!!
So let's what I've been up to since we graduated so many years ago. Well, I graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) back in 2006. My major was Aerospace Engineering. I will literally so now that those 4 years were some of the toughest years of my life. But I made it out. I sorta picked up a minor Boston ascent...lol...Let's pak the cah in Hahvahd Yahd...gotta love Boston. My most memorable time up in the Northeast was October 2004 when the Boston Red Sox came back down 0-3 to the evil Empire, the Yankees, and won the pennant and the World Series title. The city of Boston was electric during that time.
After college, I was recruited by a couple of major aerospace companies and I chose Orbital Sciences Corporation in Dulles, VA. It's about 21 miles west of the heart D.C. We are the world's leader in small space systems and rockets. I've worked on small weather satellites to an interplanetary mission to the Asteroid Belt which is the DAWN spacecraft.
Currently, I'm the spacecraft thermal lead engineer for two communication satellites to provide communication coverage to Thailand and the South Pacific (Thaicom 6) as well to country of Azerbaijan (Azerspace/Africasat-1a).
I'm definitely fortunate to have experienced so much, personally and professionally, since we left Brack over 8 years ago. Each day is a new adventure and you never know what it may bring you so don't take it for granted. Hope to see everyone in 2012 or sooner.
