Paula Crouch Arnold*

I attended the "weekday" college in San Marcos. I started my teaching career in 1976 at a NorthEast school--Wilshire Elementary. Got married in 1978 and moved to Waco and taught there while my then husband finished school at Baylor. Then we moved to Houston and I taught in the Aldine school district. Bay City was home for a year and then we moved to trhe Round Top area and I worked in Giddings. NO I wasn't a traveling teacher but followed the job of the husband. Then we moved to the Columbus area where I taught and we stayed put for 9 years. My kids graduated from Columbus while we lived in Sealy. When Matt finished HS I moved jobs once more to Katy to make more money. After a divorce in 2007, I moved to Katy. Moved back HOME in 2020. Retirement came in 2010 after 34 years of educating young minds. I then began substituing and still doing what I love. Will start my 13th year in August!! Just can’t give it up!!

Have really enjoyed reconnecting with old friends from our High School days and catching up. The reunion will just be some more fun and catching up.

Well friends, soon it will be 50 years since we walked the halls of WCHS!! Hard to believe sometimes. I have moved back to San Antonio and am so happy to be home. I’ve cone full circle because I am substituting in NEISD. Kids make me happy!!

I have 2 granddaughters——Presley is almost 15 months and Quinn is almost 6 months!! Grandparent hood is the best!!
