After getting master's of English at St. Mary's, went on to unfinished PhD work at UT in Austin. Worked at San Antonio College tutoring (math/Spanish/English), Harcourt publishing, private tutoring, Kaplan Test Prep, St.Philip's College tutoring of math, and adjunct teaching of English. Enjoy cats, Netflix documentaries and British crime series, and am learning to read Chinese poetry in the original.

School Story:

Favorite classes were Ms. Miller's (later Mrs. Burns) Spanish courses. Was sorry to hear when she passed away a few years back with a clot that went to the brain after knee surgery.
