1985 was 24 years ago? Ugh. I still feel like a teen.
After college (MFA at Univ. of North TX), a brief stint in Dallas & grad school at Texas A&M, I moved to Houston.
In Houston, I worked in marketing at Exxon, Compaq/HP and eventually served as Vice President Marketing for a fast growing software start-up. Since 2002, I run my own marketing consultant firm, specializing in Internet marketing.
While in Houston, I was very active in politics which is were I met my husband of 10 years, Cameron. I was president of the Houston Young Republicans and an active community volunteer through the Houston Junior League.
After years of working non-stop in Houston, we decided to slow down the pace and raise a family in a small town.
Cameron, Katherine, Jack & I live in quaint Frederickburg, TX and love it. What a fabulous place to meet new friends and raise the kids. Remember those Andy Griffith re-runs. Now picture, Mayberry w/ great shopping and genuinely nice neighbors.
I'm now spend my days with the children Katherine, 7, and Jack, 4. I do squeeze in time to consult on a few marketing projects, and have a small antiques business.
In addition, I am a PTA officer and serve on the Board of Directors of the Fredericksburg Theater Company.
Who would have thought life could be better than high school?
I am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
