Betty grew up in the house behind my house. We were childhood friends and our mothers still live in the houses we grew up in. Betty was a wonderful person who never let her disability get in the way.
Betty ate lunch with the people I ate lunch with. She was always very nice to everyone. She had an older brother who also had a disability but you would never know it to meet either one of them.
