Jamie Willette George
1948-2006
Jamie Willette George passed away on Thursday, Oct. 5, 2006, in Floresville at the age of 58 years, 8 months, and 15 days.
She was born in Nixon, Texas, on Jan. 20, 1948, to Jodie W. West and Willette Jackson.
Jamie was formerly a San Antonio resident and a Floresville resident for the past 12 years.
She was preceded in death by her mother, and a sister, Ella Mae West.
Her survivors include her father, Jodie W. West of Floresville; her sister, Jolene Keene and husband Marvin of Medina; her brothers, Jodie West and wife Marty of Floresville, and Jason West of Universal City; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and a host of friends.
She was in state for family to receive friends on Friday, Oct. 6, from 6-9 p.m. in the Franklin Funeral Home in Floresville.
Graveside services, officiated by the Rev. Charles Jennings, were held on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wilson County.

Jamie, was a very sweet girl!! She and her family lived just up the street from me! In later years, I ran across Jamie and she had lost a lot of weight! She and her husband were very happy then!! Lost track of them when I stopped drinking in 1985! Have missed her and her beautiful sister, Jolene! My prayers go to her family even at this late date!! Miss another friend!
