In Memory of

Linda Klima (Hunter)

Linda Klima (Hunter)

Linda Ann (Klima) Hunter, of Federal Way, Washington, was called home to the Lord on the 1st of
October, 2011 while visiting family friends in Toronto, Canada. Her last days were filled with the
excitement of seeing new sights. She and her husband, Tim, spent their last day together enjoying the
beauty of Niagara Falls. Linda was born in 1949 in San Antonio, where she grew up with her brother,
Leroy (Lee) K. Klima. She attended Highlands High School, and was a member of Baptist Temple
Church, where she was an active member of the choirs (youth to adult). In 1968, she married Paul
Timmons (Tim) Hunter. They were happily married for 43 years. They have one son, Austin Scott
Hunter, of Huntsville, Alabama. Linda, a military wife for many years, lived in a number of locales and
cultures. She resided in Texas, Louisiana, New Jersey, Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska, Alabama, and
Washington State. But in all of her travels, she never lost her "southern drawl". Linda loved Jesus, her
family, and all of nature. Her pets were her "babies" and an integral part of family life. Linda was a
kindhearted and giving person who appreciated simple pleasures, and thanked God for every new day
and all His many blessings. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Ann Dyer Klima, as
well as both sets of grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Paul Timmons (Tim) Hunter, her
son, Austin Scott Hunter, grandchildren, Justin and Harley, her father, Leroy C. Klima, her brother,
Leroy (Lee) K. Klima, and her beloved pets, Coca Puff, China Doll, Picki-Boo, and Tigger, as well as
many other family members and friends. Linda will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
