Connie Scheurich Fuentes
December 1, 1948 – August 4, 2012
On this glorious day, 8-4-2012, one of God's most beautiful creations of a
person
began her journey into eternal union with our dear Lord. Connie Lynn
Fuentes, age 63 was called by the Lord on Saturday, August 4, 2012.
Connie was born to Adolph and Irene Scheurich on December 1, 1948
in San Antonio, TX. She graduated from Highlands High School in 1967.
She enjoyed riding horses in her early years and loved animals. She
loved to dance, sew, and
spend time with her grand-children.
She was preceded in death by her father, Adolph Scheurich.
She is survived by
her mother, Irene, her husband of 19 years Armando, her son Justin,
his wife Monica and granddaughters, Savannah, Tori and Kirstyn,
step-daughters Vanessa
and Stephanie, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins,
as well as, life-long friends Minnie Chavez and Faye Hendricks.
Connie concluded a 15 year
courageous battle with cancer in dignity and full peace with the
Lord's Will. She
stood fearless in the struggle for the life she so cherished.
She will be greatly
missed and has righteously earned a spot in so many hearts.
Her beauty and
glowing smile will never be forgotten. She was my HERO!
In that Connie so loved animals, she would ask if you so choose to
please make a
donation to ASPCA in her remembrance. In compliance with her
wishes, there will
only be a joyous gathering in her honor at a later date. Let there only
be tears of joy for Connie for she truly graced this Earth with her presence.
