Well....out of high school I went to UTHSC Dental Assisting school and worked as a Dental Assistant for 16 yrs. I got married in 1985. I moved to Utah in 1997 for 5 yrs and while there I went to LVN school. I got divorced and moved back to San Antonio in 2002. I went back to school and did my undergrad at St.Philip's and got into UTHSCSA Nursing school to get my BSN-RN and graduated in 2007. I remarried in 2008 and have been married for 14 years. I went back to get my Masters in Nursing at Texas Tech in Lubbock (online) and graduated in 2013 with Family Nurse Practioner. I am currently living in the Rio Grande Valley working with the medically underserved population. I am 45 minutes from South Padre Island and get to the island as often as possible.
