Comments:

Life is good, even though it's monumentally sucked sometimes, in general it's good. I've traveled, Bali, France, England, Mexico, various places in the US. Lived in Seattle, San Francisco, and Oakland. Loved. Lost. Maintained a large and loving network of friends and family. Stayed in touch with some people from Mac, lost touch with others.

I am involved with a local theatre development organization in my spare time and producing a show for them this spring. I directed a couple of plays a long time ago, done a spattering of acting and never given up on my writing or creative life.

I've spent way too much time working, but have a successful career to show for it. I have no children, but am fiercely proud of and attached to my godchildren.

School Story:

I thought I hated school while I was living it, but in retrospect it was pretty good. I'm horrified by some of my behavior and generally embarrassed by a lot of what I remember. I sincerely wish I'd known how to just lighten the F up! But oh well.

My memories are full of the Stairs and everyone who hung out there; the tactile things about the theatre at every time of day; fog; coffee shops and gallons of latte's a day; laughing a lot; mooning around too much; a thousand fleeting crushes; a few lasting ones; failing at algebra despite Mr. Briskin's best efforts; a four year battle with Mrs. Artson over Mr. Rufus; rehearsals; drama drama drama; painting things and building the black box theatre in Tech; skipping class; Danny Glover; Mr. Glenn; passing notes; Cait's "super grandma!" lighter; Rocky Horror; Golden Gate Park on a Friday night; Cafe Trieste, Sausolito, and the Wharf; Tangoing with Jabez in Disney Land; and parties... lots and lots of parties.
