Gordon Wardlaw's son posted the following to facebook "Last night (1/19/2014) we said goodbye to my father, Gordon Wardlaw.   After a long battle with Multiple Myeloma, it was time for him to stop fighting.   Thankfully, he had an extended period of remission where he was able to travel to Italy and Scotland with my mom and enjoy healthy years between the hard times.   The last three months have been the most rewarding and emotionally challenging times I've ever faced.   I've always loved and respected my father immensely, and am truly thankful for the opportunity to get closer to him while helping with his healthcare.   He is already missed and will never be forgotten.   We'll be hosting a celebration at the home he built here in Mendocino on February 1st at 2 pm for his family and friends."
