Laurene Donaldson Madsen

My family moved to T.L. from Fairfax in 1962 (5th grade), and although I had to move to Fresno after our 8th grade year at Vallecito, I have many fond memories of the 4 years we lived in TL; the friendships and the laughs. Imagine the shock when my father got transferred to Fresno at the start of the glorious music coming out of SFO! After surviving 5 years there, I headed out to Alaska, following some old TL friends to Kodiak to pursue living in the country. They all left, and I got left behind as I married someone from Kodiak, and the rest is history. I've been in the pursuit of knowledge and happiness ever since. I love to travel and my mantra is, "have suitcase, will travel". Life is short, stay awake!

My favorite was the time we had this 80+ year old sub in Eisenberg's class and during a movie we moved everybody's books from the sides of their desks (remember those tiny things that held the extra stuff?) and threw them out the open window; so when the sub told us to get our books out..guess what?
Oh yeah, the time i cracked my head open on a doorknob was pretty hilarious too...
