from Mark Jones: Steve is survived by his wife, daughters Katie and Carol, dog, rabbit and 2 chickens. Steve moved to Kamiah, Idaho seven years ago to realize his dream of retiring and spending his days in the garden. He was a joy to cook for seeking out local elk, bison, mushrooms and every farmers market. His only complaint was shoveling snow. Steve was a great guy and good friend. He played basketball at Terra Linda High and ran track. We (Steve and I) and Gary Wall got chosen to go to a retreat at the Young Life camp in Canada in order to start the first young life club in Marin at Terra Linda. Steve was also my roommate at Chico State for one year. He will be missed.
