You were a most wonderful friend and compatriot, and nearly all of my best high school memories include you. Who could ever forget your warm smile and wonderful sense of humor? You had a propensity to giggle at the most trivial things, and made my high school days so much more bearable! You were beautiful, witty, funny and an incredibly gifted seamstress;I wish that I had insisted that you taught me to sew! Thanks for sharing so many adventures with me (bicycling up Lucas Valley Road all the way to Nicasio--and getting pushed uphill on the way back by those two cute guys! Exploring the Kaanapali coast together on our first trip to Hawaii--I've been back to the islands over ten times since then and with each visit, I think of you and your generosity in inviting ME on your family vacation!) I wish that I had known back then just how quickly the years would fly by and how much I would miss you when you were gone from this life. You left an indelible mark on my life and an incredible void when you died so soon. Rest in peace, my dearest friend...I miss you! Love, Lori

Mere words cannot describe how much Jodi Voller meant to me.  She was such an incredible young woman.  She was insightful, wise beyond her years, and incredibly supportive.  We were close in high school at a time when it was difficult to be your "true self" and we maintained our friendship when she went to the University of Santa Barabara with my boyfriend.  In fact, they were in the same dorm--Francisco Torres.  We used to visit a little coffee shop in Fairfax called "Two Peas in a Pod" which is no longer there.  This was our hangout where we would share stories about life and she would giggle that way that she did.  When my father was dying of lung cancer, she comforted me.  A few years later when I received word that she had passed away, I was devastated.  I had just returned from Europe and I was planning a trip with her to France since she spoke impeccable French but then I heard that she passed.  I wish that fellow classmates could have known the amazingly caring and brave young woman that she was.  I think about her almost every day.  I feel blessed to have known her and to call her a dear friend.
