Lori and I have been many things to each other over the last 52 yrs. We have been the new kids together when we started 3rd grade at the same school, we were an inseparable duo growing up, we are sisters, cousin-in-laws, but most of all we have always been unconditional friends.

Lori and I could always be seen in her beloved little Datsun Honey bee. She got the Datsun Honey Bee so she could start delivering the IJ Newspaper for her dad. It was a rare day if I wasn’t her co-pilot. She even took me to get my drivers license in the Datsun!

Lori had a boyfriend all through high school, so instead of me being cast off for him the two of us became the three of us most of the time. I drew the line at some inclusions!

After graduation, life moved forward. Lori had a son Derek and motherhood was good for her. I had a daughter with her cousin frank and we tried to stay close as much as life would allow.

Fast forward so many years and Bobby came into her life - they were good for each other. Along came Anthony and life was even better. After Bobby passed, Lori had her struggles that she worked hard to overcome. We reconnected and become close again after many years—like time hadn’t passed at all. We even worked together during the Christmas season.

Lori I will miss you beyond words, I will miss that no matter how old we became when we got together we went right back to being the same goofy twosome that laughed and giggled all the time. I will miss us growing old together.

Soar high my sister - be a feather in the wind because you are now free and forever in my heart. I love you always.

So sorry to hear about Lori.   When I moved back from overseas she was one of the few who reached out to me and we became friends.   She was a very sweet person and sending condolences to her family.  Rest in love Lori.
