Mike Truitt

Mike Truitt

Mike Truitt passed away Sunday, June 15th 2013, he was 53 years old.  Mike was a great athlete in school and an avid outdoorsman his whole life.  He loved to hunt, fish, camp and hike.  We fished out at Bodega Bay and crabbed at Sausalito. Mountain biked out the Estero Trail for huge clams. He was the best man at my wedding 25 years ago ! We camped at Indian creek Campground - went motorcycle riding up to Mendocino - He went skydiving - He was as strong and ox but his heart was gentle and caring.  We will never forget you!  Mike was single and had moved back to Marin take care of his mother.  He was living in Novato at the time of his death.   Mikes father passed away when he was a teenager and a couple of years ago he lost his brother Rick and Marcia both in the same year.  He is survived by his mother and sister.

We will miss you so very very much...rest in peace my old friend~Rich Regan

Mike and I worked together at the Pine Street Bakery in San Rafael, making those giant chocolate chip cookies that were popular back in the late 70's.  I always asked him to get those big bags of flour from the back room because he was so strong, but mostly because I had a major crush on him.  I would have liked to have seen him at the 30 year reunion.  Very sad news.  Prayers to his family and the people that were close to him.  Adi
