Committee Choices Survey

Volunteer Coordinator They recruit and energize volunteers for all committees.  They work with all committees, identify other volunteer needs for each committee, communicate regularly with volunteers, and delegates tasks on the day of the event.  Provide bodies where needed during the event. (Valet, Ushers, Servers, Hosts nad other misc staff).
Social/PR Committee This committee promotes the event.  They decide how the event is going to be promoted, identify media sponsors, work with volunteer committee to do press releases and communicate thoroughly through various methods to include T.V., print, radio, web, email, text, social media, and by spreading the word out about the event through word of mouth.  This committee is also responsible for obtaining sponors and/or donations of various forms.  

Keeping Memories Alive Committee

Our class is in need of a photographer and a videographer to help keep memories alive.  If you have a talent for this and are interested in being over this area, please email wacoclassof98@gmail.com so that we can contact you.
Prize Committee Locate and obtain prizes for the event, work with volunteer and social committe to plan to award ceremony for prize distribution and sponsorship acknowledgments. This committe is also responsible for creating various opportunities to either give away tickets or allow classmates to win prizes throughout the year in an attempt to keep them involved.
Decorations Committee Determines the necessary decoratons based on the theme and the budget for the event.  This committee works with logistics and the setup and breakdown crew to set up decorations, table settings, and placecards.  This is to include the hiring of a photographer for the even and coming up with prop ideas to enhance the look. 
Menu/Catering Committee Works with the logistics committee, an outside caterers on the food and drink choices and decisions. 
Security Committee Helps keep things under control by working with all committees to keep people safe, maintain order during and after the event and providing any additional security if needed.
Hospitality/Bereavement Committee Be in charge of guests to make sure that they have a great experience.  This committee will need to be responsible for new participants, pre-registration, admission/pricing strategies, check-in registration, check-out, seating, and the distribution of the registration items (bags, t-shirts, etc.).  This role also includes sending out any follow-up and thank you cards to show our gratitude for participation, sponsorship and donations.  This committee is also responsible for organizing food, flowers, cards or pallbearer assignments during a loss of a classmate or immediate family member (classmate's mother, father, sister, brother, spouse or child).
Entertainment/Program Committee Determines and contracts entertainment and how the event is going to go.  They work with the logistics committee, select entertainment, locate guest speaker, and work with lighting, audiovisual, and sound crew.
Set up/Tear Down Committee Set up and tear down the event.  Responsible for working with the decorations committee, entertainment and program committee to set up and tear down the entire event.
