Death: Aug. 13, 2012

Calvin W Bishop, a man of compassion, loyalty, generosity and integrity, passed away August 13th. He was born June 12, 1948, in Provo, Utah. He graduated from Jordan High School and Penn State University in Turf Management.

He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War.

He lived about 15 years in Kanosh, Utah taking devoted care of his widowed mother. He loved Kanosh and the people and had many friends there. He spent much time there with his beloved grandfather, Wilford Watts.

He lived a Christ-like life by helping others whenever he found a need. He was a respecter of persons especially those down and out. He was quick to offer help to those in need or to help them find the resources to solve their problems. He was a man who knew who he was and did not seek for the praise of the world. He was an intelligent man who had many original ideas and viewpoints. He had a passion for those things that he loved or had an interest in. When he found a need or common interest with you he would give all he could do to lift and encourage you. Calvin had a great sense of humor. He was a favorite uncle and great-uncle to his nieces and nephews. Many happy times were spent with him at the warm springs and cutting firewood; always an old pickup cab full of kids.
He will be sorely missed.
He is survived by his mother Gloria Bishop. Daughters, Jennifer Colvin and Jodie Endy. Grandchildren Kai and Bryce Endy. Siblings Judie Anderson, Geri (Craig) Memmott, Mike (Diana) Bishop, Kathy (Lee) Burt.
He was preceded in death by his father Lewis Bishop.
With Bella and Uggy again.
