Crystal Carrier West

After SHS, I attended Seminole Community College with a few degrees in mind. I continued working at Checkers and made my way up to acting store manager but moved on to be a retail manager at KB Toys. At this time I was still in school part time and was diagnosed with Usher's Syndrome which is a genetic disorder I was born with that progresses with age. I reached the point where I was diagnosed legally blind. At this point I made the decision to leave school and stay home with my kids and devote all my time to them. I recently got married in October of 2007 and stay busy as a housewife and mother. I also take great pride in working with Foundation Fighting Blindness to find cures for many eye diseases that cause blindness. My 5 kids, charity, husband, and family and friends give me great fulfillment and keep me quite busy if you can imagine. I am looking forward to reconnecting with everyone from highschool and hearing what you have been up too.
