Bounced around California in places like Manhatten Beach, Big Sur and San
Francisco before moving to Jerome Idaho in 1968 and then to Coeir d' Alene
in 1972 and then back to California in 1976. Moved to Catalina Island in 1981
and stayed for 31 years before moving to Salmon Idaho in 2012. Am now moving to Melbourne Australia on October 10th. Have mostly always been self employed in Retail Music, jewelry and cafes since 1972. Have always been heavily involved in music playing professionally everywhere I have been. I self studied Classical guitar and have done wedding most of my life. Also have studied American folk music and and have been lead singer for many country groups. Grammar school in Norwalk Calif and then at Edison and Glenn L Martin in the sixth grade. Then went to Smedley Jr. high till half way through the ninth grade when I was yanked out and sent to Amhurst private school for the rest of the year. Came back to Smedley and did the ninth grade for the second time. Attended Valley in the tenth grade. Left home at he beginning of my Junior year and Lived at Convict Lake resort the my Uncle owned and went to Lee Vining High in the Sierra mountian for first semester then came back to Orange county and went to Westminster and Santa Ana High School before coming back to Valley again for my senior year. Missed out actually graduating by 3 class credits but made up two of them in night school but never finished up with the last one even though I got a Ged diploma while serving in the San Diego honor camp system in 1968 Later on
did a year at Santa Ana Jr. College taking all the music classes offered.
Was more or less a trouble maker in school though I had a perfect attendance record which I am sure must have dissapointed most of the teachers. Became an expert in office procedure simply by spending so much time there waiting to see the boys vice principle.
