July 30, 1943 to August 1, 2017.  Lived in Pleasanton, CA. 

He worked as a computer engineer.  He lost an 11 month battle with ALS.

He was born in Glasgow, Scotland.  At age 4, the family moved to Canada.  In 1959, the family moved to California.  He graduated from Santa Clara High School in 1961.

He attended San Jose State and received a dgree in mechanical engineering.  While in college, he met his future wife Judy.  They married in 1967.  He is survived by Judy and two sons.

They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Hotel De Ansa in San Jose.  This was the site of their wedding reception.

He was an avid golfer and they liked to travel.
