The short version...taking a moment at a time!
I attended Northridge and left after the "quake", but did not finish my degree due to lack of focus. In college, i began working in child care, my passion for being a non-traditional teacher/educator has always been a part of me. In addition, my love for being in shape has always been Muy Importante!
I've been a fitness instructor/personal trainer since the 90's but i have taken on more administrative roles in the last 6-ish years.
My focus in the last 8 years has been to combine my 2 loves. Unfortunately, i have been unwilling to give up my first born for my dream to be realized, a Gym for Kids, using sports/dance as a tool...DRATS!
A friend of mine brought me to Dallas during the holidays and though there are pockets in LA, this area is all about sports, kids and family. I came to Dallas a few months ago for a possible opportunity but unfortunately, it has not come to fruition yet, Bugger!!!
So far, i haven't kept still long enough to push out any munchkins, i look forward to that part of the journey, nor am i in a "relationship"...one day!
