Laura Whitescarver Mohun

I have been married for 24 years to a wonderful man, Guy Mohun. He is a Bay Area native. He is a paramedic/fire captain in Truckee and a pro patrol for Squaw Valley in the winter. I worked for 15 years at Truckee Physical Therapy and then bought the business 6 years ago. We have lived in Truckee for 21 years. Built our own house 11 years ago on 6 acres. Have one crazy 5 year old Border Collie named Holly. We ski in the winter and boat and mountain bike in the summer. I also play tennis twice a week and love to garden and read.

My parents were youth group leaders at the Methodist Church. We had more and more kids to bring home after youth group and my parents bought a hearse. This was prior to seat belt laws and we had carpet and throw pillows in the back and could pack in the kids. I was a Letter Girl and we used the hearse one year to stage a rally as we were going to "kill" our opponents. There are pictures of the hearse in the 1978/1979 year book.
