School Story
I wish I could have spent more time having lunch at school and classmates. Instead I, like Mike (at Perry's) served lunch to classmates while working for my Father Merv at Merv's little Super right up the road.
I would pull my roller skates out of my locker and roll up to the store and work the "lunch rush" either in the store which was always so busy or delivering lunch to other business's or address's in the immediate neighborhood via roller skates. Then back to school. I was glad for it but realize now how many people I could have been closer to. I don't remember dating one girl from SRHS but instead dated girls form the J.C. mainly due to the close proximity to Merv's Little Super. I worked many hours in those years.
Of-course we all got a little screwed during the teacher's strike and had to work a bit harder to catch up didn't we..... Stoner's, Jock's, Ra Ra's, Aggies, I remember you all with awesome friendships and acquaintances or just Hey and Hey's. I hung with any of that mix without any of the normal rivalry that I sensed at times. Lots of very smart, attractive girls and smart guy's that I knew would be good people with awesome futures ahead of them, we, you, all of us! Looking forward to seeing any and all that attend!!!!
