Lots of careers, part and full time. Most of them interesting. A few of them still in progress. Retired from 3: AT&T/Lucent, IBM, NJ public schools; soon to start another.

Married Ellen in 1982. PhD in Institutional Research. Small consulting company in Princeton; college admissions research, other secondary and higher ed projects. Ellen passed in 2018.

Designed and built our house in 1998-2000 and added in 2009-2018 so all the kids and grandkids could come stay; I had 16 sleeping here at Christmas this year. The snow is heavy on the trees tonight. 5" in the driveway, until the thaw; too long to bother clearing. 4WD. Woodpiles are buried. Just bought a rebuilt log splitter. We're also a natural tree farm, hardwoods for timber every 10 years. Poplar, ash, some oak. Maple firewood in between.

Stop by and stay; we usually have space free for you - two bedrooms/sitting room and a bath behind a door.

If you come between Thanksgiving and Christmas you can join us for the annual family and friends Kanarek Cookie Factory. This year: 640 dozen. Last year: 990 dozen. Packaged 2 to a little ziplock to stay fresh, frozen. Just for fun. Lemon Snowdrops. Raspberry Chip. Fudge Oatmeal Raisin. Chocolate Chip Meringue. Butter Pecan. Cranberry walnut. And the usual. Ellen said the central counter was too big to be an island, so we call it "Australia".
