School Story:
My actual year of graduation was 1975 but this site only went to 1974. I might be the youngest one to have a profile for Graded! My siblings are Sue ('69), Steve ('71), and Tom ('73).
I had a "Graded Alumni reunion" a few years back here in Memphis. When I was in the 4th grade I had a crush on the youngest Duck brother, Mark. His older brothers were friends with my older siblings. A few years ago I saw an ad or article in the newspaper for a realty firm and listed an agent by the name of Mark Duck. Could it be the same Mark Duck?!! I went on the firm's website and found an email address for Mark. Too chicken to call. I explained who I was and wondered if he was the same Mark Duck I knew in 4th and 5th grade. I thought it was a long shot. Didn't hear and didn't hear for at least a month. Finally one day he did reply and it was him! We met for lunch soon after and had a great visit. One of his brothers lives about 1 mile from me. Small world.
As for memories about Graded, I remember things simply by looking at old yearbooks. Out of all of the growing up years, the 2 years we spent in Brazil have been the most memorable. Many good stories to tell.
