Left teaching in 1986. Continued to coach soccer and was a lacrosse referee until 2003. Avid skier, golfer, and swimmer.

Living in Brazil remains a lifetime highlight reel for me. I lived off of Av. Paulista and enjoyed all the city had to offer. I also lived in Interlagos - quite different. We took full advantage of the vibrant nature of Sao Paulo. Then, we spent a lot of weekends traveling to Rio along the beach, Carnival in Rio, the food, the music, the people. How could you not love Brazil!
