I am alive and well in the Washington DC area - have lived here since graduating from American University in 1972 with a BS in Nursing. I worked in Boston, Mass for 2 years after graduation and then moved back to the DC area. Married, divorced, now retired after working a number of years in Pediatrics and then into nurse recruitment.
The 4.5 years in Sao Paulo and at Graded were of great value and significance to me and had a lot to do with who I am today...I often reflect back and have many saudades for those days at Graded, Guaruja, and Brasil, and the friends I made therel...hope to catch up with you where ever you are!
I did make two trips back to Brasil - one with a friend but not back to Graded in the early 90's and then again in the late 90's when my sister Carla and I and a those of us who had found each other again made the trekke back to Graded....what a wonderful time reconnecting and collectively remembering our piece of life in Brasil! Hope to do it again sometime in the future....
