University prof from '75 to '93 in physics then philosophy. Was ordained clergy in '82. Went over to the dark side and became an administrator from '93-'08, as Dean, VP, and President of a small university. Lost Ellen, my wife of 35 years to cancer in '07, retired, lived in Virginia Beach, then moved back to Santa Barbara in '10. Remarried but after 14 months lost Jane to A.L.S. in '14. Remarried again in '16 and with Elizabeth am enjoying grandkids in NYC and LA, living in Santa Barbara. Walked the Camino in fall 2019, Via Francigena stages in 2023 & 2024

School Story:

Ran the school "weather station", did sound for Mr. Colby, ran the Coke sales as Junior class president, ran around with Steve McClure and Tommy Jackson, and took a lot of flack from Pam Bast & Karen Fallon and Tom Duck for being so nerdy....well-deserved I am afraid!

Interestingly...I now see Warren Simandle almost every week in church! Hard to believe our paths have reconnected by accident after FIFTY YEARS!!
