Natalie Kim Norton Polaski, of Sarasota died April 8, 2011.
Died in her sleep at home on April 8, 2011.
A private family Celebration of Life service will be held.
Born in Gainesville, Fla., Natalie was a loving, caring, creative and beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter as well as a friend to all who came into her life. She was a Master Gardener and Creative Writer. She was a talented student of ballet throughout her high school and college life. A 1975 graduate of Sarasota High School, she attended Texas Christian University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority.
She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Eckerd College.
Survivors include her parents, Isabel and Randy Norton; husband, Joseph Alex Polaski; sons, Sgt. Noah Lipman (and wife Ashley), Columbus, Ga.; Asa, Ariel, and Jesse Lipman; daughters, Eden and Sadie Lipman; brother, Marshall Norton (and wife, Allison), Bradenton; sister, Leslie Norton Drinkwater, Winchester, Va.; six nieces and nephews, two aunts and uncles and four cousins. She held a soft spot in her heart for every member of her large family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to favorite charities.

I remember when Kim and her family moved into Harbor Acres, a block down the street from us on Flower Drive. I rode my bike by their house about a hundred times before we talked. We dated off and on in HS and she was my senior prom date. Kim was smart, sweet and pretty. Such a Southern belle.
