30 Year Reunion!
We're having a 30 year reunion! Whoop-whoop!!! It will be November 17 from 6pm to 10pm at The Event Center in Boaz. We'll have a mingling hour first from 6-7pm, because if you're like me, you'll be trying to catch up with everyone as soon as they come in the door! This will give us time to socialize just a bit while curbing our hunger with appetizers. At 7, we'll eat and after dinner, we can hang out until 10pm, but we need to be out by 10pm, so if you're still there at 9:30pm, you'll be enlisted to help with the clean-up! Haha!
The deadline to buy tickets has been extended to October 31 - if you would like to come but won't have the money by then or won't have it at all, please email me or send me a message on Facebook (see the next paragraph for my email and facebook info). Several classmates have offered to pay for tickets, so please don't let money keep you from coming!
I need mailing addresses to send out invitations. I've created a Facebook Group for our class - go to Facebook and search for Sardis High School Class of 1993. If you've never joined Facebook, go ahead and create a profile because I'll be posting announcements both here and on Facebook, and news might show up there quicker just because that site is easier to maintain.
Tickets to the reunion will be $30/person or $60/couple. We are having it catered by Main Street Bakery & Catering Co. from Fyffe and the food is amazing! still deciding on food options, but I promise - you won't be disappointed! We also plan to have background music that will include a blast from our past - songs of the late 80s and early 90s! I'm creating a playlist now, so if you have any songs you want to hear, send me the song and artist.
I'll post links to my Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal accounts in the section Register for the Reunion and you can go ahead and start reserving your tickets today. If you don't have the full amount now, please go ahead and put down $10/person so I can start to get an idea of how many will be coming (I need to give the caterer a number of servings per dish).
