May 01/2009 - all the updates that I'm seeing have motivated me to be a little more forthcoming with my info. I realize that there are many that may not be attending and this is the only way you can catch up to what's all happened over 20 years. 20 years is a lot of time - hard to lay it all out 10 minutes of typing. In my previous profile, I mention travel, family, and generally that life wa awesome. I'm going to expand a litte. Travelling, we've done a lot and will be doing a whole lot more. I can hardly remember all the places we've been: Jamaica, Bahamas, Cozumel, Cancun, Dominican, Paris, Spain, Amsterdam, Tuscon, Boston, San Fran, Vegas, Florida, the Keys, Hawaiin islands, all over Canada, Africa, India (Janinne went alone to help some orphanages). One funny travel story that you might all get a kick out of - going to Jamaica for our honeymoon. I'm on the plane, buckled and ready to go, and realize I forgot all my "stuff" at security (Passport, money, etc) - guess who the flight attendant was - Colleen Jaccabucci (Seawright)! She was able to have security get my stuff to the plane before we took off. Can you imagine landing without that? My wife Janinne is at home raising our kids. In past she was a lab tech, worked in our church, got her pilots license (thought about it as a career. Didn't interest her after all - fun flying around though). I'm a lucky guy. She's a wonderfull woman and incredible mother. She's doing a great job - technically calls me her third kid. Kids are a great excuse to be silly and goofy all over again and I'm taking full advantage of it. We're taking the job seriously though. Parenthood was a big decision for us (up until "age 28", we didn't think we wanted kids - having too much fun with all the freedom). I can't imagine being without now and planning a family was one of the best decisions we made. We're working hard to help mold them into thoughtfull, caring, loving, people who won't be afraid to tackle anything - and to try and make a positive impact in our world. They are totally awesome and are developing into great little people. As for business, I've totally found my niche in the investment and insurance world and have enjoyed great success over the last 15 years. I've been working as the senior investment/insurance advisor (financial planner) at Credential Securities in Saskatoon (a company formed to help Credit Union members) for the last 12 years. It's totally second nature to me and I love what I do. Been lucky enough to be the top rep in Canada several times over the years for our firm. Who'd have thunk it? I'm still trying to fit all I can into life - trying to have fun (Wakeboarding, motocross, snowmobiling, hockey, Taekwondo, etc). I find that when I wipe out, things hurt a lot more now. I'm definately not a teenager anymore (only in my head)! So that's my life in a nutshell over the last 20 years. For those of you I don't see - I'll enjoy reading your profiles instead. God Bless and we'll see some of you soon!
