Derek Gores

Off to art school in Rhode Island. Married my high school sweetie from Eau Gallie, Jamie Jenkins, in '92. Made t-shirts for the Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, Pink Floyd right outta school. Then moved to Tampa, worked 12 yrs for VF, art directing for the NFL, ESPN, MLB, NCAA, a little Lucasfilm. In '07 got gutsy and went out on my own so we could move back to little Melbourne.

Now doing fine art for galleries n shows, putting on events (www.321agency.com), teaching a little at the local museum and in vero, and some commercial design for bands. Lenny Kravitz, Madonna, Kings of Leon, and yes Van Halen.

Sooooo love it that I can set up home base here and do business anywhere in the world. Recently sold a piece of art at the Manifest Hope: DC art exhibit before the inauguration.
