After graduating in 1987 from Allegheny College in Meadville, I went on to work at WPGH FOX 53 in Pittsburgh. There I worked as a writer/producer and on-air host of the Fox Kids Club, then Executive Director of Children's Programming.

After leaving WPGH, my husband Jeremy and I started our own advertising agency to allow us more freedom to raise our children. We built the business over ten years and in 2007 decided to close the doors to free us both from the headaches of running a business.

After a few years of freelancing my writer/producer/voice-over skills, I'm working as Creative Services Director with The Pipitone Group in Pittsburgh.

Happy to say I'm doing something I love. More than anything, I love the experience of being a mom. I couldn't be prouder of my kids.

Everyone's been asking about my brother Todd. He and his wife Debbie have brought a new little one into the Hoffman clan -- Charlotte. She's a pickle -- just like Todd.
