Great high school cross country teamate and on our senior year 1960 sectional championship team with myself, Faustin Barone, George Luckhurst and Roger Truesdale. RIP friend. You, George and I had lots of laughs after practice walking home down McClellan St and stopping for ice cream sundies at Stewarts in front of J M Fields everyday after practice.
We were friends for many years but as happens so often, lost tract of you in later years, but will always have fond memories of growing up with you over the years. Rest in peace.
So sad. It was the best cross country team! And Ernie was always there - smiling. Sorry it took so long for us to hear about this. and that we have lost contact with so many of our friends and classmates.
Let's not lose track of more classmates. Come to the mini-reunion at The Lighthouse on October 22nd. Unfortunately we will be away, but I know Faustin will take lots of pictures.
