I first met John at Oneida and I was best man in his wedding. We use to meet for lunch on those rare occasions when his father would let him leave the florist shop.

He remained a good friend even though we both moved away from Sch'dy and didn't get to see each other that often. I have a great photo of John, myself, Ricky M, Mike P, Norm E, Vinny G, Ray T and Dicky B at Brother Dom's during one of our lunches when we were all in town. Great friends, great stories, great memories.

R.I.P. my friend.

John was a wonderful, fun kind of kid.  Never saw him angry.  He sat next to me in 10th grade geometry class (Mr.Prindle) I think.  Joesph Monaco sat behind me.So between those two, we didn't focus too much on the Math!.

I'd bug John almost daily to bring me a flower (rose) from his father's shop, he said he couldn't just walk out with flowers, I said why not?.  Finally one day, he brought some yellow roses.  Guess I wore him down!

He and his Dad did all the flower arranging for our wedding, he is even in a picture standing in doorway on side at St.Helen's church, watching!  Like WHAT is she doing?

Three years later, he and his Dad did the most beautiful flowers for my Dad's funeral.

I will always remember John smiling and with flowers around.  Love you JOHN.

Greg very nice comments about our departed friend John Gallo.  Like Greg I was also in John's Wedding. John and Dottie where my son's God Parents. As kids in HS John and I played Golf together at Schenectady Munni.  I actually have first hand experience on making  flower arrangements on occasion when I was home from college.  John will be missed.  I offer his family my condolences.
