Walter D. Zebrowski, 66, of Onderdonk Road, Scotia died Friday, June 5, 2009, at Ellis Hospital, following a short illness . Walter was born June 23, 1942 in Schenectady to the late Benjamin Zebrowski and wife, Genvieve Zebrowski. He was a graduate of Linton High School in Schenectady and worked as an installer for Hart Alarm Company. Walter is survived by his wife, Rometta Zebrowski; three sons, Stephen (Stephanie) Zebrowski of Rotterdam, Michael (Gretchen) Zebrowski of Scotia and David (Beth) Zebrowski of Corinth; two brothers, William Zebrowski of Clifton Park and Paul Zebrowski of Schenectady; one sister, Jean Bailey of Scotia; one granddaughter, Alyeene Zebrowski; two step grandchildren, Richard and Eric Greenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by one sister, Theresa Karabin. Funeral services will be held at Bekkering-Ellis Funeral Home, Inc., 1 Mohawk Ave., Scotia on Wednesday June 10, 2009 at 10 a.m. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2009 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
