Alex and I will celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2011! We met at RPI and both have Chemistry degrees. Our older son graduated from Cornell 08'. He lives in DC and works as a Patent Examiner and attends GW Law. Our younger son is in 8th grade at Shenendehowa and keeps us young and very busy with all his activities. In the Spring and Fall, you can find us at various Regattas for Harrison's Crew team. In the Winter months, you can find us at various Vermont ski resorts for Harrison's Alpine races.
It was wonderful getting together with former classmates and Miss McDonald (Mrs. Lotano) to celebrate our joint 50th birthday party at Lanthier's Grove in Latham, New York on August 21st, 2010. Wow...it's been more than 32 years since we left MPHS!!! Some of our classmates are grandparents! I posted some pictures here and on Facebook as well.
We had a nice get together during August 2009 at my home in Clifton Park, NY. Alan LaFleur uploaded some pictures...please check out the pictures.
I've played ice hockey at RPI and picked it up again 10 years ago inspired by Jamie's youth hockey activities. I scored my first hat trick last year for the Arctic Foxes against the Frozen Assets at Frear Park! I enjoy running and have competed in few road races. I traveled to San Francisco last July to run the half marathon across the Golden Gate Bridge with my older son Jamie. I ran my third marathon (Marine Corps Marathon) last October and my forth (Philadelphia Marathon) last November.
I cut back in my running this year to work on my garden. I will actually walk the Adirondack Distance Festival Marathon in Schroon Lake on September 26, 2010. My apple tree did great this year! My tomato plants, especially the cherry tomato ones have done extremely well. I can't wait to harvest the hot peppers from my pepper collection.
