Kris Dendekker Chuska

Since graduation I did some college at UWSP until deciding to head to San Diego California in 1988. After traveling all over the world. I started working for American express in July of 1993. I meet my husband Rick in San Diego, who was in the Navy at the time.Rick got out of the Navy in 1995 and we were married that same year. In 1998, Rick got a job with Corning Inc in Corning NY and I was transferred with Amex so off we went. It really sucked leaving San Diegos warm weather for the NY cold. In 2005, Rick was displaced after making it thru 9 layoffs. He was prepared this time and on the very day he was let go , he was offered a job with a contractor for NASA in Greenbelt MD at Goddard Space flight Center . So we headed to Waldorf MD. Amex offered me a home hearth position which really made our lives easier. The kids were involved with everything so I was doing alot of running. In August of 2007 we decided to build a home and ended up in King George VA. we have been here 2 years and love it.
