Met my wife-to-be, Amy, at an orientation session for the IT program at the U of MN, but didn't start dating until the end of our freshman year at the U. We married in 1992. Julia arrived in 1996, and Nicholas in 1999. Kids sure do change your life!
I graduated from the U of MN with a Mechanical Engineering degree in 1992, and went straight to work as a Computer Programmer for the Musicland Group. In 1996 I joined Informix Software as a database consultant. At that time, I also started working on my Master's of Business at the Carlson School of Management at the U of MN. I graduated with an MBA emphasizing in Entreprenuerial studies in 2001. That same year, IBM bought Informix, and I have worked for them ever since. I have been a people and client manager for the last couple years.
After work, I spend most of my time with the kids at various sporting events. They both play soccer. Julia has been in Dance since she was 2 years old. Nicholas tried out LaCrosse for the first time this past spring. And they both have been on basketball teams.
