After school I moved to Southern California and lived there for 12 years. I attended school and started my family. Noelle is my step daughter and Andrew is my son.
In 1993 I moved back to Michigan and settled in Schoolcraft again. Its a nice place to raise kids as compared to SoCal. The kids were proud to be from Schoolcraft.
I have married for the second time in 1999 to Sandy and we have blended our families together. She is the mother to Mitch and Lucas. Wow, was that a rough road at times but we learned a lot through it all.
We are close to being empty nesters now and coming to grips with no kids around anymore. We have a dog which is nice because he actually listens. I think he acutally talks more to us than the kids did,, I have never understood how a dog can replace kids,, but now I have an idea. We are acutally looking forward to being grandparents,, although not for a while.
I work for Eaton Corporation in sales and have been there for about 10 years. My Job has allowed me to travel all over the world. I have been to Rome, Torino, Milan, Prague, Vienna, Amsterdam, Paris, London, Dusseldorf, Munich, Dubai, New Delhi, Mumbai, Seoul, and many more places. The thing I find is that people are really all the same with all the same priorities in their lives.
I attended the last reunion and I am really looking forward to this one.
Tell us about your family,,, your kids, mom, dad, etc.
Mitch is now a junior at WMU and trying to get his business degree. Noelle has received her Associates degree from KVCC and is moving to WMU to continue her studies. Lucas started at WMU last fall and discovered the cost savings and convenience of KVCC for his first two years. He will probably move to WMU at the completion of his first two years. Andrew is in Chicago playing Junior A hockey for the Chicago Steel of the USHL. He is enjoying "the life". He is playing his way to a college deal to play division I hockey somewhere. Lets hope.
They are all really good kids, there have been ups and downs but ultimately when we hear others say what good kids they are we feel we did a good job. Thats all we can hope for,,,
What is the most exciting place you have visited or the most exciting thing you have done in the last 30 years?
Place - I got a chance to visit Dubai in 2006 which was a very exciting trip. Our family trips have all been a lot of fun as well. Through work I have had the opportunity to travel all over the world and experience culture and life for each area. Ech location is unique and exciting
Thing - Probably getting my pilots license in 1984 and also seeing the birth of my son. Oh yea I cant forget my wedding day.
My 45th birthday. As you see we have these silly party hats on which my wife breaks out every birthday. It makes me and my Gansta boyzz look very non threatening,, or better yet - Stupid. L to R, Lucas, me, Andrew, and Mitch
