I was quite happy when the whole school thing was done in 79, but after a couple of years I went back and have been taking classes ever since, working on my 5th degree. Go figure.

Have done a fair amount of traveling, especially when the boys were younger, sometimes for a month at a time. Generally always included a nice blend of state and national parks with cultural attractions and theme parks. A few places of note include the bridge structure across the ocean that spans the Florida keys out to Key West, the beautiful national parks in the West, the Bar Harbor area of Maine with the ocean waves spraying across the large rock outcroppings. In light of the fact that my ex was from the boothill country of MO, I have been to the Ozark Mt region probably 50 times. Some of those mountain boys really know how to play a fiddle! Michigan has no lack of beautiful places, both upper and lower. There are few Michigan state parks I have not been to at least once.
