Comments:

For those of you that don't remember me. I got married in my junior year of highschool and had Samantha. In the first month of my senior year of high school I went to Mississippi with Steve to start our life in the Air Force. On October 17 Steve was in an accident. A train hit his car that left him with a closed head injury. Today they call it a TBI. This resulted in a brain injury for life. We came home I attemped to come back to school and graduate with the class but was told by the school I would not be allowed to do that. I would be 1/4 of a credit short. Driver's Ed. was the only class that gave that small amount of a credit. I got my GED 3 years later. We had 3 more children I was a stay at home mom for the most part, active in the childrens life at home, kids at school and church. We have had some good time along the way and some sad times. We have lost 2 home to fire and rebuilt. For a time I worked at Blair in Scott City. In August 2004 Steve was in another accident. A 40 year old driver was checking out the junior-high p.e. class and drove his truck on top of our car and nearly killed Steve. The other driver walked away, Steve among other injuries had a broken neck, a spinal cord injury and yes another brain injury. But he is still hear and still smiling. I have devoleped a few health issues but that is to be expected, we have made it this far.

School Story:

How young we were. We could not wait to grow up, look at us now.
