Susan Margaret (Ankeny) Pechin

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. July 29, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Scottsbluff for Susan Margaret (Ankeny) Pechin formerly of Scottsbluff.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Suzy Pechin Memorial Fund 529 S. Forest, Mesa, AZ 85204.

Susan was born Dec. 31, 1946, in Scottsbluff to Jack and Annielee Ankeny. The family lived in Bayard, Denver, Gering and Scottsbluff while she was growing up. Susan graduated from Scottsbluff Senior High School in 1965; she was active in choral music, school musicals and dance. She continued her dance and musical interests at college in Scottsbluff.

She was married for 17 years to Brian Pechin, they had a son and daughter. Susan was a secretary for most of her working career. After moving to Mesa, Ariz., in 1986, she enjoyed working for CP Products.  She enjoyed her horses, teaching dance, and playing the piano, cooking for her family and many friends and attending NASCAR with her husband Keith Farnsworth. 

Survivors include her husband Keith Farnsworth; brother and sister-in-law, John and Ali Ankeny of Charleston S.C., sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Mike McDonald of Palmyra, Neb.; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Ingrid Pechin of Mesa; daughter, Shannon Pechin of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Katelyn Pechin, Camille Pechin, Brennan Pechin, Victoria Work and Vanessa Bartram.
She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather Keith Ford.
